I know there have been several threads that address this problem, I just wanted to see if there is any new dealer feedback or updates. I Googled "09' Tacoma transmission problem" and got hits from 5-6 message boards. Apparently this is a very common problem and everybody is hearing the same story from their local tech - "it's normal" or "the computer is learning your driving habits." Some guys said they have 5,000+ miles on the truck and it is still doing it. This is really starting to bug me.....

Actually I just hit 10,000 miles and I haven't had the problem in about a month. ......Now that I have just jinxed myself I will subscribe to this thread and re-post when it happens again :)
