I’m getting new tires before the summer and looking around it seems that Walmart has the best prices. I’m trying to keep the cost below $700 total so I’m looking at some lower cost options. I want an AT tire that has the 3peak winter rating and found the following:
    Kenda klever at2
    Gt adventuro atx
    Falken rubitrek
    Master craft courser trail
    Atturo trail blade at
    Pirelli scorpion at plus

    Thoughts and suggestions appreciated

Im also looking at the Rubitrek's.
The service rep at my local toyota dealership pointed me in the direction of going 265/70/r17 instead of the 65's. a little easier to find and the spare would still work in a pinch.

I purchased a Rubitrek as a spare last fall in 265/75-16. Unfortunately I can't attest to the real world uses but it looks like a great tire and has good reviews on mileage etc. Slightly less aggressive than the wildpeaks I have on my winter wheels which have been excellent. I had Pirelli Scorpions on my last truck (F150) and was not impressed. I'm assuming based on the tread design of the Rubitrek that it would be similar in characteristics to my Ultra Terrains which have also been excellent. All of which are SL rated
