Any value in "fluid-filming" (or similar anti-corrosion treatment)?

And the outside looks just as good, and a thanks to this guy for the amazing picture he took off this beast.

 

I got my truck in Fall of last year and used a local Krown applicator. It is not water soluble like FF, so I felt like it would work better for me here in Ohio. I think it is thicker too.

I do have a few cans of FF on my shelf at all times and hit my hitch receiver after every use.

 

I neglected that area a little and it's got some rust, but a nice member just gave me this for free. I just need to go pick it up, he had it sand blasted and painted for me all for nothing.

 

Did you remember to get in the nose of the hood?

4 cans for me too. I have a mild winter so I only do the frame and cross members/ rear axle. It goes on nicely on top of the 9 year old CRC that Toyota applied, keeps it nice and gooey. About to do my yearly application in the next few weeks.
