I don't have any specific recommendations on services or outfitters, but there is absolutely nothing like Arkansas timber.

Weather hasn’t been very cooperative for this first short split. Going next week and hoping these upcoming cold fronts help

I crop and flood my own holes. Dry as a bone at the moment. Don't want to pump, but it's looking that way.

Big brown truck brought my new Herters waders today aaaaaaaaannnddd they don't fit :frusty:

That's what I get for buying without trying them on. Anyone have reccomendations for some fat guy waders? Been using Redhead the past 5 years or so but kinda wanted something different.

No idea. But I'm in the same boat. My beloved cabelas super mags finally let me down the other day, after three full seasons. Brushed in one of my deeper water blinds the other day. Got a good case of the wet crotch. Guess I'm
    In the market too.

Think I'm going with Cabelas Ultimate II Big Man. My buddy was running Super Mags the past few years and is replacing them this year too. Taking a knee did in both of our pair of waders and my brothers Columbia's. The neoprene in the crotch can't handle that much stretch I suppose.

Picked these up yesterday. Highly recommend checking them out. I don't think I'll be going back to neoprene again.

They price match + 10% off so look around. I got them to match Rogers Sporting Goods even though the ones on Rogers were the originals not the 2.0s.

Also saw some Magellan Max-5 bibs for $60 and they looked legit. I'll probably have to pick some of those up too.

Let me know how they hold up. I have a friend who has been wearing the banded breathable waders. Look really comfy, but I can’t justify the price

I have the Rocky waders, love them! Very comfortable and warm. Seems to be resistant to abuse too!

Those are neoprene. I've never tried the breathable sort but imo those neoprene are very well made! I don't sweat in and there is no condensation inside when I take it off

I don’t think you can beat neoprene when it’s cold and nasty. My issue with them is that it isn’t always cold and nasty here. 5 mil neoprene waders are hell when it’s 60* and you’re trying to hunt. Conversely, a pair of uninsulated breathable waders would leave you frozen when it gets down in the teens and single digits.

I am convinced that having two pairs (one for warm, one for cold) is the only way to be comfortable all season. At least where I live.

I know what you mean! I do have two pairs but the 2nd one is like pvc or some kind of plastic non breathable... I prefer wearing the neoprene even if its hot... the other pair I get all wet inside lol and they are not comfortable.... i just walk less so I don't heat so fast

I actually bought a pair of red head hip waders the other day. Plan to use them while it’s warm, at least when hunting shallow water.
