Any way to see into the heater core area with a boroscope?

I have some weird smells coming out of my vent with heat on. Looking into the vents with a boroscope didn't reveal anything, but since it's associated with heat only, I would like to be able to see in the area near the heater core. I have not figured out a good entry point for the camera to reach there...

Getting into the heater core is a full interior dash disassembly, which is not a job for winter (or at all if it can be avoided), so I was wondering if you know a good place to sneak a boroscope in? I don't mind doing some light dash disassembly to gain better access but I'd like to avoid anything major.

    Any tips are welcome!

    Thanks

Ya any slim borescope can get in through the defrost or panel vents in the center. Or you can remove the blower motor and go in through the side to look at the evaporator.
