? Most trucks I've seen has a nice tight fit with zero to no gap. Mine fits somewhat poorly. I've removed the front bumper and refit it, but the gap remains. I can physically push up the bumper to lessen the gap, but I can't figure out a way to tighten it up.

I know.. I'm just being extremely picky.

Yes, I know I'm being picky. That said. I love the truck. Just seems Toyota's tolerance is a bit of a joke.

Find a diagram of all the bolts for the bumper and cover. You may have to loosen them, hold in place, then tighten to get the gap corrected.

Good call, I tried that. Seems part of what causing the gap is the headlight. I loosened all headlight bolet's and tried to reposition, but there is no real play.

Well, I dropped off the truck at the dealer, and they said they are sending it to a body shop to see what they can do about this. I don't have high hopes.

[Edit] seems this may just be normal. Here's the loaner they gave me

it's not a gap until one can measure it in quantity of hot dogs that can fit in it.

This is a distance photo but, it looks flush. I'll be taking a closer look when we go out grocery shopping today.

Here's a pic from when I took her home almost 3 years ago! (May 2021)

Hopefully, it can be tightened/snugged fit for you.

Maybe it's your fender. Maybe instead of trying to tighten the one gap, loosen the other and they'll both match the gap between the hood and fender.
    Nobody's none the wiser.
