Bummer dude. Bet I know exactly what happened... As easy as it bent during the impact, it will shock you how hard it will be to pull back into shape.

But it can be done if you have something REALLY stout to anchor off of. You can chock the wheels, set the parking brake, and use a comealong to assist while massaging the metal under the taillight. Its definitely not perfect. But it was good enough to get me on my road trip to CO and back this fall. Not sure what body shops are like in your area, but they are over 3 months booked out in my area. And that assumes there arent any backorders on that rear cross sill or any other parts you'll need (spoiler alert, there are backorders on everything...)

Thats actually good. All the shops I talked to in my area wont even entertain the idea of fixing it. They pull the old parts off, put them in the dumpster, and bolt on new parts. Which is a huge bummer in my case because I have the TX Baja package. Baja decals are no longer available..

I was supposed to drop my truck off at the beginning of Dec. But the shop called just a few days before to say fenders & tailgate are backordered until mid March, so still in a holding pattern :(

I know for a fact the cross sill will need to be replaced, if I end up going the body shop route. Im honestly considering a flatbed because of all of this. Still researching details.
