I have been having problems with my Dewalt 734 planer. It’s feeding really slow, the blades are new.
I cleaned the rollers with mineral spirits and used some 150 sandpaper afterwards. Still not feeding very well. I’m getting these strange lines, kinda like drag marks from the rollers. I’m only lowering the head about 1/32”.

How old is it? It may be time for new rollers

Try waxing the planer bed. I use minwax paste finishing wax on mine. Any wax should do as long as it is silicone free.

I've read that there is a key on the sprockets that is prone to breakage that can cause this issue also.

Found a cool pic of a front gate online and bought a table saw. Was pretty fun, not as crazy as some of the stuff on here but fun for my second table saw experience. Just waiting on hardware for the gate to show up n will rip the trim on the bottoms and the edge trim for the gate4BED76B4-F3CA-465C-9A6B-8523EE443D5A.jpg

Working on a counter for the laundry room. Had this beautiful knot in a piece of wood. Filled it with epoxy and it looks good.

    west systems epoxy.

i've also used the loctite 5 minute expoxy as well. It works well if you are tinting it. if you want it clear, you need to buy a special hardener from west systems otherwise it's kind of a yellow color.

I filled a knot on one of the Salt &Pepper mill I made a while back, I used super glue and shavings from the block of wood. cant hardly tell it was an open hole...but its sealed up now.

The thumbnail on the home page totally looked like a snatch and butthole.

    Good luck unseeing that now.

    Have a nice weekend, Krapmeister!
