Nice! Some of those Jessem's can go for almost $400 themselves.

Present, yes but I can't put it together right now until I get some other more pressing things (read that as chores) done. I (read that as she) bought it so I could resaw boards for an upcoming project. Woodcraft was having a 10% store wide so I (she) saved some money. I (read that as I) bought a laguna resaw king blade. Can't wait to try that out.

It was a toss up between the Rikon 10-326 and the Laguna 14-12 as they were the same price. The Rikon has 1" more height capacity plus I have yet to hear anything bad about it.

Love my lift. It’s just the Rout-R-Lift II, but it’s a night and day difference. Easily one of my best purchases!!

@98tacoma27 know anyone local that can run this log through a bandsaw? It was a corner post so no one will put it through a circular.

We'll probably buy them the blade they're going to destroy.

How far is Kempton from you? There's a decent sized saw mill there called Bailey's. That's where I got the majority of my lumber in undergrad.

Does anyone here have a good build plan for a rocking chair? Also, how hard would you rate it. I have built a shelf.. That's it.

Hell i make bird houses sometimes! I tinker with structures, like mending floors or helping build pole barns, and fencing at times. Nothing as good as Rockin Chairs, Canoe's and 1/2 the Stuff on Here!

I can put a screw into a 2x3 without cracking it, sometimes. Wish I had the ability to be able to build a canoe or other boat.
