    I think most of us are by no means “a woodworker,” more of a works with wood products group.

    That’s is not to say there aren’t amazing things on this thread, just a true carpenter (@OZ-T) would put us all to shame! :rofl:

    Maybe he’s going cut a beam in, or add a few buttresses to the exterior. ;)

    I doubt the pitch would allow for enough snow weight to collapse it too.

    make sure your dont run your outlets on the same breaker as your lights...so if you do kick a breaker at least you can still see...

    The last rental house we had the idiot wired everything into a 15amp breaker, outlets included. so everytime I barely overworked the wirefeed welder it would kick off every light in the shop.

    All of the countertop outlets in our kitchen, plus the wall-mount microwave are all on the same 15 amp circuit. You can't have the coffee pot and toaster going at the same time and then decide to run the microwave.

    :rofl::rofl:

    Ours- the dude put up subway tile BUT grouted the outlet covers into the tile. So now I’ll have to Dremel them off then piece tile in so the covers sit on top the tile like they are supposed to instead of inset.

    Do they make oversized outlet covers that would cover the gap?

    They do, but they would look like shit. The shitty and dirty part will be removing the original ones. Otherwise I would’ve already tackled it. :pout:

    Biggest pieces of advice I can give is to first learn about the properties of wood grain. Growth, gluing directions, open, close, etc. This will help you determine how to build your projects after you've come up with a design.
    Then learn and practice basic joinery techniques and chisel skills. You can cut almost any joint with just a good chisel. Personally I try to refrain from using any metal (unless it's for decorative purposes) in my projects; sometimes I need to brace things a little, but usually I can get away without.
    Above all... HAVE FUN!!!
