Your mother in law must not be like mine. She ask me to teach her to weld, that was 9 years ago.

If or when I get one I’ll need advice on how not to just walk around branding shit in the house.

Lots of work. It’s only about 136 square feet, so if I don’t I can’t make anything.

I understand that, my shop at home is so full of stuff I can hardly walk much less get any work done in it. Luckily my boss lets me do stuff at work while the milling machine is running.

Love to see a full shop shot.

I’m in a 10x20 shed, so small foot print too. I’ve had to do a lot of googling to figure out what works and get ideas.

Finally saw this thread. Someone told me to check it out probably a month ago. I’m no great carpenter by any means , but I do love making trees look pretty around my house. Bottom side of a live edge table for my front deck. I go out on the boat and pull up root systems from old dead trees in the river during the summer. When winter hits I toy with them in my garage for something to keep my mind busy with. Making wood look great isn’t hard , it’s just extremely time consuming. That’s why true wood furniture is so expensive. I’ve only got $20 bucks in this table including hardware , but holy shit I’ve got some hours into it. I use no power tools other than a drill for putting holes into stuff. Everything else I do by hand. No, I don’t sell anything , I just have a million little hobbies I enjoy. :D
