Looks like a deal to me. Owner says it was in a fire but might still work with a new power cord.

I wouldn't hate having just the heavy flat cast table to do something fun with. :notsure:

It would make a cool flower pot or something. Bet the top is pretty pitted in the miter slots though.

Better man than me. I don’t really trust steel that’s been through a fire. I’ve been keeping an eye out for a band saw, even though I’ll probably buy new after the winter. Anyways, seen this and thought it was interesting.

Agree. I doubt it's still flat.

Typically they are cast iron...going to take a lot of heat to warp that...paint isnt even blistered.

Just picked up one of these on the cheap. Anyone know if it will mount to a Craftsman Pro Router table, there is a guy with one NiB on CL near me for 45 bucks. I did some research but couldn’t find a solid answer. 29F83BF5-8148-489C-ABE7-D0B439FAD1AE.jpg

I would imagine that, Craftsman being what it is, only a Craftsman router will fit. You can always make an adapter plate.

Just got back from the lumber store. Man I love the lumber store! Got some 4/4 walnut, and some cherry. Now to make some dust.... :bananadance::dancingbacon::broccoli::jellydance::kona::locked:

Honestly, just make one. Do it on a TS wing, big piece of MDF that you can clamp to the edge of your bench, or mount it to a bench tool base. Unless you go all out for an incarta or other gee wiz table, it’s not really worth your cash.

It’s also a great learning opportunity.

edit; Looked up the table and it has a plate (plastic?). If you do decide to get it, you could easily make a new plate or drill new holes in the plate. If you decide to go this route, I doubt we wouldn’t be able to help you fit it to the table IF the holes didn’t line up.

Found this but I'm not sure if it's the table you are looking at. It mentions you may need an adapter plate for "other routers"

I also found on another forum that Porter Cable makes Craftsman routers and that the router may fit.

Honestly sounds like a crap shoot.
