Anyone here looking for a good price on a lifetime supply of cocobolo? We have some prime stuff at work we're letting go, aged 12-15 yrs, premium instrument grade. Lots of sizes. Also have some bubinga, bloodwood, and African blackwood.

    1.jpg Capture.jpg 2.jpg 3.jpg 5.jpg

I'm looking to move it in very large bulk quantities, think $1k and up, more wood more discount. PM if interested.

Started our dining table today finally, Black walnut I've had for the past few months but finally started processing through. Got everything laid out and joined, ready to glue up, will be a 54" round that opens up with two 15" leaves. 7' long final.

That's cool but it looks like it bit you on that thumb. You're not having fun until you draw blood. Well in my case anyway.
What's your set up to do this?

That's paint. I cut the letters out with a glowforge. Phase 2 will be to clean them up and glue them on a piece of walnut plywood. They're maple so it will give a nice contrast. Phase 3 is to hang it somewhere in the house. I'm still scouting locations that aren't too obvious. Phase 4 is to wait...

First coat of Arm-R-Seal (already added a second one a bit early) plus close ups of my first inlays. Not too shabby.

Router table from reclaimed wood is coming along. Finishing up the door for the router compartment and had to get creative with the router lift. Next just need to close it all in and add a drawer.

I made one frame with it and it was very accurate. I want to make one more and then trim the jig down. I need to make a 2' by 3' (inside measurements) frame for a poster. I don't plan on doing anything that big with this jig again. It makes it hard to maneuver because of how far it sticks out off of the table saw.

Minus the t-track for the fence and some finish for the top the router table is pretty much done. Maybe close more of it in later down the road, but it works for now. I'm really impressed how the adjustable fence came out. For all reclaimed wood and even most hardware I'm happy with it.

Note: door is a little wonky for the router access. It works for now.
