Good to know... What would one seal a cutting board with once one sanded down said board? I'm almost positive poly acrylic is not the go to...

Those look awesome... I just had several scrap pieces left over from my exposed beam and thought I might could make something out of

The reasoning behind oil and wax finish.
    Foods are
    Repairable
    Never flakes off
    Never rancid
You can gift the board butter in a Mason jar with the board.
When it dries out over time the owner can repair with board butter.
When needed can give back for a good sanding and more butter.

The adjuster state farm gave me was not there to help me, and I did not know what I know now. They saved about 25,000 they should of paid. Very long story. I am certain I personally have cost them 100,000 in business by now, and I will continue as long as I live to make sure people know how they cheat.

Have you tried lathe work? Small footprint. High satisfaction, low cost. Hella fun.

All I have is the Comet II. It is a pretty decent midi lathe.

    Powermatic is next purchase.
