I posted this in the "tool box" thread, better suited here.

The "Grab it and go" tackle box/rod case.

Thanks, straight from the depths of the Dirty Pool.
Initially it was designed around two rods (his and hers) and the four Plano pocket packs. It had to go back under the knife a tad to add a third rod.

I'm slowly starting to build my woodshop. What do you guys use for dust collection? Anyone just use a shop vac or a shop vac with an Oneida Dust Deputy?

This would be used in a garage shop with one tool running at a time.

Its a fine option for beginners . next step up check into grizzly.com. they have some low cost options. it really depends on what tools you are hooking up.

I have a small wall mounted grizzly and plumbed using 4" hvac round duct. I made drops for the table saw, router table, and one for the planer and jointer. I have a flex hose that I move between the two stations.

Figure out what you have and what you want to do. tons of flexibility .

My dust collection system (so to speak) is shop vac, over head, wall mount, one horse bag dust collectors.
I agree with Ben craigslist is a good place to find them.

All right gents, I need some advice. Ever tell the Mrs. "sure I can build that" without really looking at what she was talking about?

If anyone has any good ideas and can point me in the right direction on how to do this that would be great!

I don't think the ole Kreg jig is going to pull me out of this one .
