That’s a good deal on the lift.

I was thinking of buying the 3 1/4 hp Triton TRA001 to use in a router table, it doesn’t need a lift, just a mounting plate. $350 for the router, $130 for a Woodpecker mounting plate.

Talk me out of it, but I want a 3hp.

I have a Festool 1400 (plunge router), but the Jessem lift is $400. Not sure I want it stuck under a table.

Should be $250 for the Triton. You can snag a Kreg plate for a lot cheaper as well. That's my setup.

I actually have two Tritons. The first one, the collet crossthreaded and I bought a second one. I was able to order the chuck a few months ago and repaired the original.

I did, between $5,500-$6,000 to my door. They are back ordered, soonest delivery would be mid February.

Do you have the 3 1/4 HP? I heard it makes the Kreg sag.

I do. I haven’t noticed any sagging but I can check on that. I have the blue Kreg plate, not the black one.

My friend with the shop is going to set me straight tomorrow. I’m not to buy anything until after we talk. Jointer, dust collection, router and lift.

Slowly making progress on the desk. Scrapers proved to be completely ineffective on the desk top here so I resorted to the random orbit sander. Not too happy about that, but I’m trying to stick with 120 grit and above. This makita one seems to be pretty good about not leaving too many marks.
