That looks like the same model as mine but on a stand. Post it on Craigslist for $100 and see what happens? I think the model is an mb? But might be different because it's on a stand. That was top of the line back in the day, 50s era. The blade that is on it looks like the outside blade of a dado set and that would be 8" but mine takes a 9" blade. I wish it would take a 10" as there would be more choices of blades but a 10" won't fit.

I got the new Byrd Shelix cutterhead installed in my 8" jointer last night, took about 2 hours total. Pulled and swapped the bearings, I should have just picked up new ones.
I moved the jointer closer to the shop tool box and also so I could get to both sides of it.

    A thing of beauty.

Last part of the instal was the sticker, lol.

Only bad thing is I get to do it all over again as one of the bearings got damaged in the swap and it's making noise. I'll pick up a couple and do it again. At least they are just common 6204 sealed bearings.
But this is a very cool upgrade, no more knife setting!

The cover is about 9 1/8 so yeah it could handle a 9 inch blade

Trying to figure out the model number on this Excalibur scroll saw. I need to know if it’s a 30” or not.

Doesn't the inch measurement indicate the throat of the saw? A tape measure would tell ya real quick the answer to your question

Yeah, the guy listing it doesn’t own it. He’s helping a widow sell her recently deceased husband’s tools.

He sent a picture of the plate on the saw but I couldn’t read it. I told him and he said it was a model 212. This turned out to be the Dremel model number. I think he’s getting aggravated but I’m asking about it for a friend. My buddy wants a 30” and nothing smaller.
