    You might be taking off too much at once but I would try lowering the speed first.

    Is it just happening on the end grain or on side grain as well? End grain is a bitch cause of you are going against the grain and tearing it instead of cutting it. Try misting the wood with water to swell the fibres and take a slow shallow cut. I know the misting helps tear out on figured woods when planning.

    It’s the Titebond with the red label. Not sure of the numerical rating, will look into it. We buy are glue in 5gallon buckets, sometimes 1gallon cases, depends on availability. It’s definitely not the waterproof or the UV activated, big no no in the musical instrument industry. It’s all about the sound.
    Yes open time is a factor, gotta move quick. But dry time, or turnover time is important as well.

    I'm guessing it's mostly on the end grain in the area where you are cutting against the grain.

    I'm going to let it dry out. I had to do that with the bandsaw as well. All of the Grizzly stuff fired up without incident. I was shocked.
