In its new home. The top is not painted to match the other furniture in the room. Also its a little dark to see the legs, but they're painted gold to match the handle.

    Learning time.

I have a bookshelf in my room with joints like this:
    20220922_124825.jpg 20220922_124839.jpg 20220922_124847.jpg

They also have dowels. The width of the shelf is 12", so would this best be replicated by a router? I've never used one and I don't have one, but I want to try to replicate this joinery on another piece.

You can create those with a circular saw and chisel. Router could also achieve this.

That's kinda what I was thinking. Easy and precise. Though I did ask the person who made my current bookshelf and those cuts were made with a table saw.

Dado blade on a table saw is the easiest way, but yeah, router works fine too.

Meh, I'll take a strong IPA or Belgian style :D

Gotta pick up a couple new blades so she can make some good cuts. I had like $200 in new blades, but I lost them in my move somehow :annoyed:
