Some stuff. Not a lot, just some.
I have two 55" with the rail connector. I'm probably going to get the 39". I've had to make a few small cuts lately and the 39" would have been easily to use than the 55".

We were gonna do the two 55” but doesnt matter how hard you tighten or how meticulous you are, they always tweak when you move them. Unless youre not doing cabinetry though, then its whatever. We have the 55 and 39 as well, that 39” one comes in super handy, we’ve prob used it more than the others.

Stickers on the wood irritates me so much. Our local joint uses wax pens.

and yes, I know as a business the stickers are probably way more efficient at inventorying and during checkout. Stickers are just annoying

I can’t tell you how many times I’ve sanded and started staining only to see an exact outline of the label where there’s just enough glue still present to keep the stain from penetrating. Can’t feel it, but just enough residue :annoyed:

I could have made it really short if I just had to fit a 1:rofl:
Yeah I wish El Paso wasn’t so, just bleh. It’s main redeeming quality for now is that it’s in Texas, we’ll see how long that stays an advantage.

What are your thoughts on pipe clamps, such as these? They are definitely less expensive than parallel jaw clamps, and can be made in any length. For smaller projects (boxes, jewelry boxes, chairs, small tables, etc.) would they be a good way to go, or should I just save and buck up for the parallel jaw clamps? I know one can never have too many clamps, but I'm trying to make the most of my money for how often I'll actually use them. I typically make a couple/few smallish projects per year. I'm not a high volume woodworker, although I'd like to be; there's just not enough hours in the week for my other hobbies.
    Thoughts?

I've always used pipe clamps and they work fine. The parallel clamp are a new invention and simply make things a bit easier, but at high cost. Probably worth it for higher volume shops.

I probably have just as many pipe clamps as I do parallel. And they often get used at the same time.

I've got a bunch of pipe clamps and they work just fine. It's an excellent way to get a good quantity of clamps for not a lot of money. Especially when you can catch them on sale. I have some Jorgensens that I like. Rockler makes some good ones too. Bessy may?
    I use galvanized pipe.

I hadn’t used pipe clamps until recently. They worked a lot better than the F and bar styles I have at home.

Another thing I'll add is that 1/2" pipe clamps work well for smaller things up to like 3'. They are lighter in weight, and cost less and still have good clamping power.
