The ones in the pic above from Amazon are decent. Two for about $16 but the bonus are all the mounting options for t slots as well

Some stuff. Not a lot, just some.
I like this style (engineer squares) for checking machine squareness...

Nice! I've been thinking of making a few of these for years for my coworkers as christmas gifts. We have tons of expired tubes that cannot be used, so I've been meaning to take a couple tubes home to get some plans made up for easy duplication. I had planned to just stick some fake plants/fake sand or soil/etc in them since they'd just be office desk decorations, but never got around to finding cheap fake plants that would work well with them.

Too wiggly and wear. But cheap and usually around 45°, 90° as marked. Tough to butt up, though. Thanks

I would be more worried about the off cuts being trapped between the blade and the feather board.

Exactly. None of would work out and if some idiot reached before blade stopped

He appears to be freehand crosscutting, using the feather board as a flexi fence, etc

Idk, it looks totally safe to me, the blade is not spinning. If it was spinning, all bets are off!

What is more expensive ... a cord of axe-split common pine or a badly-built desk of select hard-maple?

Well that's a good point. You can do a lot with the tablesaw with it unplugged! I use mine to stack shit.

I was asked to post a few of my projects here.
20211112_204910.jpg Burning a pic of my SIL's house for her to hand on the wall.
    20221110_191831.jpg Need both of these...
20221202_212017.jpg Had to make my own rolling seat. 5" casters...
20230625_191538.jpg Carving 13 bowls. Notice the Death Wheel on the grinder. I just finished carving the last one and still have all my fingers.
20230621_214301.jpg The first bowl I did as a prototype with the blanks underneath.table.jpg One of many cedar logs I shape into side tables big enough to hold a plate and drink.

This is what I have done in the past few months. My family and friends just ask and I create.
