    Good idea.
I miss the high quality dry transfers. The rub on kind.

Cut it in half and use the live edge in the middle for epoxy side table for couch or recliner. Something like this

If it’s thick enough, resaw it and book match it for a table top

It's an inch and a half thick and 4 feet long and about 10 and a half inches wide at the one end. I am limited with my current bandsaw and unable to resaw anything that wide. I'm thinking a shelf or a narrow table of some sort.

It’s a little thin…and I’d have to get creative with the knot but there’s a gun stock living in that piece of wood.

You could also rip it down for a picture frame. But you would lose the live edge. I do like Wilcam’s table idea though.

Make the tabletop. A chance to experiment with epoxy, and a table 2 ft wide one edge, yet-to-be-determined on the other dimension.

Fun to experiment, but remember that epoxy is *all about* the technique and the proper mix of the chemicals. Do it though. Just practice much on throw-away wood and expect to screw-up profoundly a few times especially with such a large middle section.

@Kilo Charlie, I like the tabletop that @wilcam47 showed.

It will really showcase the beauty of the wood grain.

After several "adventures" in using 2-part epoxy resins, I finally acheiveda good to-surface (at least) pour that is hardening nicely, minimal overflow, and only one less-significant orbital-sander gouge. That gouge convinced me to stop f*ing around and just accept if the letters look reasonably level and have a hard outer-surface.

Fairly new Carvera Air, with a 4th axis too. Just a little desktop machine, 8x12" work area, but also has a 10w laser module. Just making up some plaques and stuff right now.
