You will want to clamp it from the sides to squish the glued parts together and I suggest using cauls on the ends to keep it flat.

I have some 2 inch angle iron that I cover with painters tape for this but you can use pieces of scrap wood that are flat and covered in tape to prevent sticking to the board. Wipe off any excess glue while it's still wet to reduce the amount of scraping and sanding that you will have to do. Future you will thank you for that.

Was gonna make this an end grain board but the center walnut pattern has me thinking of keeping it as is.
    Walnut, Maple, Hickory and Cherry.

Spalted Maple, Maple, Cherry, Walnut and that bright yellow wood is Mulberry. Freshly oiled in this picture.

40 inch Charcuterie Board Walnut with Hickory inserts... the giant crack in the Walnut required some creativity to save.

I'm kinda into the 45 degree edges.. I think rounding would be cool but the design is all lines so I'll probably do a 45 on the edges.

    Thank you and will do!

Great figured wood in that piece. Also I always liked walnut paired with maple.

I had the same thoughts with mine on the chamfer vs round over. I didn't think the round over would look as nice. I did sand the edges a bit to protect them.
