Yep, and she had a litter before I got the chance to get her neutered. She out lived her brood.

I started small with the desk I posted last night. I basically only did the top, so it was a small start for me. I had a kit for the cupboard gifted to me. I have done other small projects, but I will keep getting more involved. I would love to get to where I can make custom cabinets and custom furniture. My biggest downfall is I haven't perfected using a topcoat. I used polycrylic on the desk and it is OK, but not perfect.

That definitely takes practice. I've gotten pretty good will poly urethane. I don't really have the desire to work with the water-based stuff. Shellac is very forgiving. So is lacquer (especially in an aerosol).

I rolled it on with a high density foam roller. I figured if I used an aerosol it wouldn't lay flat or I'd see spray lines if I went too heavy in some areas. Probably could be fixed by multiple coats and sanding between?

Yeah, it should be brushed not rolled. A foam brush would work also. Sand between coats with 220...very lightly...especially on the corners. Reapply, let dry, and lightly sand again. Lather, rinse, repeat. I use that process with urethane. Sometimes I'll up the grit to 400.

Only thing so far I dont like is the absolute stop pin for the angle falls out. They could have threaded it at least, I put it together in my house and took it via 4wheeler to my shop and the stop pin fell out. Luckily I found it. I put a new finish blade but Im going to get a good rip blade.
