you'd think with the huge following of tacomas and the vendors on here, someone would be making one.

Could probably find someone to fab one up as well. Try custom motorcycle shops.
A lot of them will do custom gas tanks for motorcycles, gas tank is a gas tank at the end of the day, just needs to be sealed properly lol.
Sure it wouldn't be hard to fabricate one out of stainless steal or something.
The hard part would be the tig welding.

I'm curious how it would reflect on the gauge?

I'm with OP though. dunno why they give us a measly 80L tank. Would it kill them for a 100L tank? maybe even 120L? You can get F150 and Rams with it.

Could mount it where the spare tire goes? Just trying to give you options. Maybe something in that thread worth reading.

considered mounting an additional tank under on the passenger side? there's some empty space there, could just do an aux tank and have a pump.

A long range tank would be sweet.

Just looked at my parts catalog, any tank for a 2nd gen SHOULD fit a 3rd gen. The part numbers are the exact same.

    HOLY SHIT

    I'd consider contacting ARB first.
I know they do make extended range fuel tanks, not sure if they are universal or vehicle specific though.
