anybody else have this issue?

Ever since i took the dash apart to do the DRL Mod, i cannot get this piece of dash to fit flush anymore. Notice the gap. My last truck did this as well. I've tried pushing it together firmly. I dont want to wail on it hard and mess up the switches/wires.

 

ive had mine apart a few times and it went back ok. maybe one of the clips fell off? at least I think there are clips there, I don't remember.

 

Trim pieces can be tricky like that. I usually just keep fiddling with it until it sits flush

 

There was a TSB on this probably close to 10 years ago. The fix was a new style clip. Pretty sure you snapped a clip or something, not 100% sure

 

It indeed is a clip. Took it apart yesterday and im missing a little pink clip that is located right behind the left/right mirror control. Ordered it from the dealer for $1

 

Whoa.....only a $1. Mine would be $10.98

 

yup. Ordered at the dealer. Getting it tomorrow
