I had a 2015 F150 lariat with every option earlier this year. I have no idea what people are talking about around here saying the fit and finish is worse than the Tacoma. Those must be some serious blinders they were wearing lol

Right? SYNC is the one thing I really miss. My TRDOR has Nav and all that stuff, but SYNC, and all the cool features like the park Assist I thought was cool technology. Not that I ever used the park assist, but it was still cool.

The pano sunroof and heated rear seats were awesome. I regret selling that truck every day, but i got an absurd amount of money for it that I couldn’t pass up.

I actually love my Tacoma. I wasn’t sure at first due to the amount of space I gave up, but I’m good now. Keeping this truck a couple years and getting a TRD Pro. Hopefully they have a cool color in 2019 or 2020.

I’m gonna keep mine a few years and get back into a king ranch F250. I love my Tacoma. Glad I got the sunroof and stuff otherwise I would’ve hated it. I had 5 vehicles this year, and it’s one I don’t mind keeping. Plus I lost ,y ass on my F250that I traded in so I don’t have a choice. Lol

Ha! I’m done with full size. If I was going to get one, I’d get the new Tundra coming out in a couple years.

I need the full size for towing the boat, but I can borrow an F250/2500 duramax if I’m going further than I need.

Mine stays in the water. No need to tow it.

I love my Tacoma but I feel like the F150 is the best full-size option out there.

To answer the question posed by the OP (which was a very long time ago, lol)...No. I didnt have a hard time deciding because I didnt need a full size truck and the Tacoma met my needs. If I needed a full size truck, I still wouldnt have a hard time since the F150 to me is probably the best full size option. In a perfect world I'd have the money for a Raptor.....but that's not the case right now:)

My experience. I had Toyota 4x4's only from 1979-2013 but felt I needed a larger truck to pull a small travel trailer so I got a F150. Now, four years later I just bought another Tacoma 4X4.
The Ford is great on really long trips down good, roomy roads and for now I still have the F150. However it is flat out boring to drive and in town or on smaller woods roads, it feels like I am driving the short bus. A lot of how you feel about this decision may hinge on what you are used to driving combined with what you use it for.

Tacoma would pull that no problem. Let me know if you ever want to fish my pond with it.

I get 32 Imperial Miles per gallon on a flat highway/rolling hwy. I get 23miles per gallon in the city. Those are real numbers from fuelly. I like the truck. I may buy another if I live long enough.

Love my 2016. NOt sure the paint is as robust as it should be. Two minor recalls.

    Take care

I understand I am done with full size. after 3 tundras and after 51k and 2 yrs now on the Colorado I am staying midsize. Just wife and I and I commute and in city it is lot better. Yeah tundra is more comfortable and im sure f150 too but give or take. The only issue with Tacoma to me is seat position and no adjustment but hope I figure that out because I want back in Toyota and like the Tacoma looks and interior.

Personally i can only drive a tacoma.. I would love to look at full sized trucks, but they don't make actual trucks anymore. Everything full sized is like a big livingroom on wheels, millions of electronics, tons of gadgets, no manual transmission option, and the cost to buy one is insane.. I want to throw mulch, building materials, and other crap into the bed, and at 70K for a pickup i would have to downgrade to a Bentley to daily drive in bad weather.. Na.. I am really happy with my cheap tacoma.. and thank god toyota still makes a stick shift..
