I need one of those .357 Henrys in my life. I think she misread them being sub $400. Cause they ain’t in my area or I’d have one.

 

I'd like to wait for a Ruger/Marlin 1894 in .357 but who knows when production will be up and running for those. Been eyeballing the case colored Henry side loaders in .357 pretty hard lately instead.

 

I was bent on getting an 1895 in 45-70 like in Wind River and Jurassic Park…until I shot one. Settled on a stainless Rossi r92 in .44mag. Love it and a lot less recoil.

 

Pretty much my take as well. I don't plan on running into moose or grizzly any time soon and want to enjoy shooting it, not just blowing up pumpkins and cinder blocks (as cool as it totally is). 38/357 is such a versatile round too. Can be a total pussycat, or loaded hot can take most game in North America.

 

This. I often wonder how I’d like a lever in .357 also and my next lever will be just that.
