That sucks. No dealer trips for me and I'm at 130k now.

BUCKLE UP! It makes it harder for Aliens to pull you out of your Truck.
Put 300k on an 84 720 KC 2wd gas. I love Nissan trucks

Yeah that sub was good for tickling the hemorrhoids sitting under the front seat, that was about it. Erh what was the question again?

Real sub. Tuned for music. Couple 25 pound bags of #9 shot is worthless in the frozen tundra but works great for vibration damping with classic Polk towers pushed through a Denon amp.

Really wasn't impressed with the RF sub under my ass on the Nissan. Or the RF head unit. For the cost I could do a hell of a lot better on my own.

But it does beat the JBL crap Toyota puts in these trucks. My dad had a 2006 Nismo Frontier with the Rockford system and it sounds better than the JBL system in my 2017 Taco.

I’ve been driving my Tacoma for 15 years but I don’t pretend it’s the holy grail of trucks. I keep driving it cause it’s been paid off for a decade and bills suck. Every car I’ve owned has done it’s job well regardless of the badge on the hood (Datsun, Saab, Honda, Hyundai).
If I was in the market for a new truck the Tacoma would be the first one crossed off my list. They’re just way to expensive now days, and filled with unnecessary shit. So, I’m not exited about the new Frontier, but I’m also not here being a Toyota fan boy like so many others:jerkoff:

Well, in 15000 miles, that makes 3 of the free service intervals. What was the 4th?

Yeah, I just don't get brand loyalty. Buy what works and you can get a decent price on, the manufacturers certainly aren't going to repay you for being loyal to their brand. Make them earn your dollar.

I didn’t take it back for any of the free service. I don’t want those morons touching my truck unless it’s absolutely Necessary. It went in for master brake cylinder recall then it went in for TSS sensor recall next the rear brakes locked up had to be towed that took them 2 days to fix and told me it fine next time I used the pb locked right up again so now I don’t use it. Then in for leaking rear end they replaced it next was the leaking 3rd brake light and now I patiently wait for the fuel pump recall. That’s all within 1 1/2 years

That's your loss. If I don't have to pay for an oil change and they're going to do it, I'm all for it. But perhaps you should try a different dealership if you don't trust your mechanics.

Definitely can't say I've run into any of those issues, at least as of yet. Mine is a 2017.

Having owned 1 fronty and 2 titans there’s a reason I drive a Tacoma now. They were good trucks but the 1st titan was a lemon Nissan bought back. I’ve got 0 interest in it tbh.

I could care less about the free service that is my choice. I very anal and I like things done a certain way. And I’m not bitching about the dealer ship they are pretty good what I was saying is my 3 Titans were flawless in my ownership and this Tacoma been there 4 times and counting seem Excessive

To each their own. But it is one less thing they can say I messed up if they're doing it and something happens down the road. But you have a funny way of saying your dealership is "pretty good" by describing them as "morons."

That all being said, I haven't heard a ton of good things about the Titan, but not much bad either. But I can agree those issues you've had with your Tacoma are definitely annoying and not something you should be dealing with in the first place.

If I was thinking about another vehicle I'd probably buy a car honestly, or a small AWD cross over. Something that'll get decent fuel economy when I don't want to drive my truck.

My dad had 2 Frontiers, and he enjoyed them. No real issues. I only drove one of them (some yellow dual cab monstrosity with a stick) and from what I recall (it was ages ago) it was fine?

However, I have no interest in any new Nissan product unless it's an older Patrol; I had a 370Z for about a year and a half and it was just less than ideal.

Morons was referring to the sales people and service managers they seem to have some competent mechanic. The best Toyota I ever owned was a 1977 Celica I bought new drove it over 200,000 miles unfortunately it was rust that took it down that 22R engine was great
