    ive been down there a few times for the first few times we were down we stayed in south nags head, and buxton and avon, all beautiful but i am hooked on corolla. i just like the seclusion nobody to bother me :D

    It would've been nniice to have some hard pack like that today..... the beachh was way torn up when we got there, then a chevy 4x4 was barely chugging along riight in front of where I was going... I llost momentum and buried mmy axle

    yea its just packed like this because it had just rained so me and my girl hit the beach to fish. but i love it when its fluffy. the house we rented last year was about 8 miles up the beach and my stepdad bet me that i couldnt go the whole way from the end of 12 to our house in 2WD in the fluff on the back of the beach. i did it and at one point was going 55(dont worry it was late at night so noone was out but i was very pleased with myself)

    its all good with momentum, but with 2wd once u lose it ur done and my mud tires dont help... it didnt take me any time to set my rear end on the frame and spare for that matter
