I have that exact setup. Unfortuneately, I am away from home. As soon as I get home, I will try to post a picture. I am new to the forum, so bear with me while I learn how to post pictures.

Here's mine - the topper is made by Raider, very similar to the Leer. I went with a cab high, so I could park in my garage.

I hear ya! Mojaves are a sweet wheel, in fact they made it to my top 3 list. A TRD Offroad was what I was after but I don't think it's offered in Canada? (someone correct me if I'm mistaken...)

    Cheers'

well, is there a differance between sport and off road besides tires and a locker?

seems canada would need the offroad edition MORE than america!

I have a Snugtop Supersport on my truck... It look fantastic... I'll try posting a pic tomorrow for the first time.

When I went to get my shell, the guy who has owned his camper/shell business for 30 years says, Snugtop is the best brand. He says that they meet Toyota's stringent qualifications for painting and quality.

Ya know what... I may not know what I'm talking about here with regards to the non-availability of an TRD Offroad being offered in Canada...someone please clarify....grin.

Ahhh, here we are: (thanks to Natrlyst)

"...Actually the off-road package is available in Canada but it is not available in a package with the four door model truck as they assume if you want such a long truck you wil not be using it for off-roading. It is only available in the two door versions. You are able to pay extra for the rear locker if you want it in place of the LSD. The TRD Sport package in Canada comes with all of the other goodies of the off-road package (skid plates etc.) but includes a limited slip rear in place of a locker and comes with sport tuned bilsien shocks in stead of off-road tuned shocks, ie, the shocks are the same but tuned differently for different uses...."

A Double Cab Long Bed TRD Off Road is not available in the states either. Long Bed 4 doors are only Sports. Because of the longer wheelbase I think. Sport makes more sense.

Really???...I would like someone to post one if they have one. I have never seen it and at first I was looking for the DB LB TRD OR. I doubt it is a true Off Road with the Locker...maybe stickers? Please prove me wrong.

Check out Toyota.com. It is not available in southern California at least when I entered in my zip...try yours to see if it is avail. Just like the XSP models are only available in the southeast states.

I couldnt get all the features to work, but the site doesnt show it here in utah (84045)

though, for what its worth, i saw one NEW at tony divino, last year...

so there it is, more or less my dream truck...

but it will have to get some BFG all-terrains, rear locker, and a healthy dose of ARB.

Sport package does make more sense because it is a slightly longer truck, so on road will be more comfortable. Believe me I have a DC LB Tundra and that is very long and very comfortable.

Just so I am on topic cause it looks like we are getting away from it.

The DC LB TRD Sport is a very sexy looking truck, but I want the factory locker so will go with the DC SB TRD OR. I do have the luxury of my Tundra when I need to haul stuff that won't fit in the Tacoma.

    I think I've decided.

if i get a shortbed, its getting a tonneau and a removeable tent.

but if i get a longbed, I'M DEFINITELY getting a shell.

I just wish there was like a camper, that traveled folded into the short bed, but expanded like the side of an RV when parked.
so you could sleep stretched out in the shorbed without getting eaten!

that would be the best of both worlds...

now that i think about it... that may not be that hard to build!

when in transit, it will just sit behind the tailgate like cargo...

it wouldnt have to travel extended...

I need to go think about this
