I wouldn't mind doing something like that to the front windows, I just don't want to pay for tickets/inspection with tint.

I normally do 55% but since I had to have my windshield replaced a while back it has nothing on it now. I may go with 70% this time around.

As you said, It really does make a difference having the windshield tinted, the amount of heat in the cab during the summer is far less and the A/C doesn't need to work near ad hard to cool things down.

How much do you charge for windshields? My guy was $100, but they increased it to $150 this year.

we charge $125 for full windshields. and we use a full ceramic 70% film for those. or we can do a nano ceramic 45%. we will not do a windshield any darker than the 45% film. by the time we put that on there it will gauge about 33-35%.

Winston Salem here. Just got my 2015 OR 4x4. Anyone know where I can go close by to get it a little dirty? I am not interested in "serious" offroading at the moment, just want to get it in some terrain where I can engage the 4WD.

Sure do. We took a stock third gen up plenty of them this past weekend.

No reason your 2nd gen wouldn’t be able to do the same.

Thanks! Anything I should read up on or watch before doing something like that? I have never had a 4WD vehicle, and so have no experience.

Go with someone like @JimboAnz @HrBrad8 @ovrlndkull @SearArtist or someone that has Eben there and can help guide you. I'm sure if you search YouTube for offroading Tacoma you can find some pointers.

It can be intimidating if you go out alone for the first time.

Best to go in a group. I feel like I’ve gained far more experience and confidence by riding with other people who actually know what their doing.

Yep we won't take you on anything that you don't feel comfortable with. The majority of URE can be done stock.
