There in a guy in my town selling 14 Taco tailgates on Craigslist for trucks from 2000-2012.

Sounds kind of fishy to me.

What's fishy? You know what state it's in and you know what website to look on. It shouldn't be to hard to find listing.

I'm just north of it, in Vermont. Makes me glad I put the pipe clamps on today.

Nobody just has 14 spare tailgates lying around. I can see one, as I had my tailgate replaced due to the TSB and was allowed to keep my stock one (which I sold to a customer who came through my drive thru when I was working at Taco Bell at the time. Cool $80 and I needed it out the garage), but not 14.

The front gate has the wiring for what I assume is the back up cam just kinda hanging out. I can't imagine someone paying legitimately for a tailgate + cam and just leaving it lying there like that.

    That shits stolen.

There was an issue in Calgary a year or two ago. A guy was stealing tailgates from newer trucks. He stored them in his house, where his wife and kids lived. He was arrested.

Well since you started the thread I figured you'd post a link the people who in live in the area(like yourself) could phone the police. You think that would be someone's first action(getting a hold of the police), the second would be posting it online.

The only reason someone would legitimately have that many is if they were company trucks.

Yo, snitches get stitches and wind up in ditches. Dime the seller out to the local PD. Bet all those gates have the VIN code removed too.
