Anybody know what it takes to start up a Website?

Thinking of starting a Website that will help everyone out in the Automotive world. It would be a strictly information website.

 

Easy. If you are a Windows guy, get a copy of FrontPage, if you are an Apple guy, get Dreamweaver, you build a website like writing a Word document these days, then buy a GoDaddy domain and host it. That's for a simple, 5-10 page document. Anything that has to look good or be good for business or anything you may want to pay a developer to do it.

I am one of the very few moderators remaining from MSN Autotechs on line 2001 - 2011 . When Msn dropped their groups we lost all our members .Well over 100,000 members at the time . We were forced to move our website to a different server . Most people are now going to forums specific to the vehicle they drive .
