You're gonna look good in that thing. The only problem I've had ( will be a year in March ) over the last 6,000 miles
is beating down all the chicks that try to get into the truck at red lights... you'll have to beat-em off with a stick...

Lets just say I went through a spell when I was active duty single dude (deployment money, etc.) and have had a few of these trucks (12 tacomas total, most 3rd gens), the only ones that had any issues were my 16 (rear diff howl and a few other things) and my 17 (weird glass issue), the rest have been flawless. Dont stress, the forum is mostly to share issues, fixes, builds, hacks, etc. there are FARRRRRR more flawless trucks than those with the random issues, even though its a Toyota nothing is perfect, but you'll find out their customer service is beyond none and products better than anything else out there. Congrats and welcome.

My wife tried beating me off with a stick before. Now she calls me "Old Hickory" and tosses me in the smoker with the brisket.

No one will logon to tell you everything is fine. You only hear when things go bad.

Remember the saying: If it has tits or tires you're going to have trouble. There isn't a vehicle made in the history of the automobile that doesn't have a problem at some time or another. With a Tacoma you'll MOST LIKELY have less.

2019 SR, 2TR-FE 4 cyl. fuel pump replaced under recall but had never had a problem with it. No issues at all just oil change for maintenance and tires rotated, but working from home only ~8500 miles on it in 2 years. Love the truck. Absolutely ….

Update: Wait. I forgot. My auto shift knob became loose about a year ago. I had to slide the collar ring and boot, turn the knob one revolution to tighten, then slide the collar and boot back up. That was 15 seconds of my life I’ll NEVER get back. POS truck.

Played off-road in all types of terrain. Drove it across the country twice. Was my commuter, DD. Parked outside in the weather.

Zero issues, I miss that dam truck, just not the MPG's. Dam you $5 a gallon.

Knock on wood. 3 years of ownership, 60,000km, driven in -40C to +40C not a single problem. :) Manual transmission gives me an extra gear shift for every good gear shift I give it lol.

ARB Bumper, SOS sliders, SOS rear bumper, SOS skid plate. OME Lift. Some other stuff.
You forgot to include exploding rear differential.

Probably a couple more on top of that.

most people don't have problems. the small number that do you might see on here but overall the people who don't have problems are enjoying their vehicle that has a warranty

Squeaky leaf springs easily resolved with stereo volume.
3rd brake light leaking, appointment next week to get that resolved.
Other than that it starts up everyday and gets me to work without any troubles.
