    Anyone want to do an August evening meet? A Tuesday or wednesday, 14,15, 21,22, would work for me. 6-7-8pm? We can do Bridgeport, captains cove, or up on Candlewood lake at The Hatch, or Norwalk, sono movie theatre lot?

    Throw out some ideas if your interested. Maybe we can get some of the Fairfield county people out at least. And anyone else willing to make a drive.

    If there's interest I'll start a thread & put out some Pms to drum up some enthusiasm.

    Ive gone to Cockoponsett(sp) before and while most of it is just fire roads I did get to go into some trails....a little bit before I came to a point where I couldnt go anymore. Prob have to go up to NH or Mass to find anything good.

    Hey guys just thought this would be a good place to post this. Just wanted to let anyone in the central CT or even outside that general area know that I am more than willing to help TW members on doing some work on their truck. I just did my own 60k service with all the diffs, TC, and spark plugs and saved a ton of cash that way. I also would def give anyone a hand putting on 5100s or lift components. I have 5100s and 885s I want to put on in the future and would love the experience of wrenching and helping out others to make my future install easier as well.

    I am not a mechanic......just so we are clear. Just a dude with some tools and a torque wrench that really has liked doing his own work on his truck and learning more about it and saving cash at the same time. I know some people might be on the fence about doing some of the stuff I want to do or did and having another set of eyes and hands just helps.

    I figure with TW tutorials, beer, and pizza we should be able to tackle whatever needs to be tackled. So just putting it out there that if anyone was planning or on the fence about doing some work on their rig and wanted some help just shoot me a PM. More than willing to help.:)

    ^good to know man. Im buying a lift soon and i am kinda in the same boat as you. Maybe we could get a CT mod day going, if we can get someone who has already lifted their truck maybe we could bang both our trucks out in a day. Or if you wanna do your truck soon ill come help and you can help me out when its time to do mine. What are you planning for the rear, and are you doing new ucas?
    I dont have much knowledge when it comes to suspension but i want to learn, one thing i have to offer is the satoshi grill mod, ive done two and enjoy doing it if anyone needs some help.

    I have 5100s and some used 885s ready for the front. I am saving up for a new leaf pack(prob dakars for a more level look) and UCAs. Im also trying to save for a move to RI so I dont have a lot of priority right now on the leafs and UCAs. I was considering tho installing my 5100s atleast up front to level the truck out using the 1.75 setting. After watching that video on installing 5100s without spring compressors I feel I can do that.

    I like the idea of a CT mod day.........even if I didnt get anything done I would just like the experience of working on our truck and learning more. Small group up here though........its not like cali where there is a mod day every weekend somewhere. Weather is gonna be cooling down though which is prime wrenching time IMO so we should try and get some mods done.

    ^that would be awesome i really wanna see your truck. I am in madison so new milford is kinda a haul for me but i would be willing to drive wherever. I still have to order my lift but now that i know i might be able to get some help maybe ill stop stalling and spend some money haha. Im planning on OME front and back, dakars and new uca's, probably light racing. Do you think thats alot to tackle in one day?
