If you’re not doing serious off-roading, spacer lifts are fine. Mine came from the dealer with one on, it looks great, and it handles like a charm. I catch myself going 85 at times on the interstate, because it handles so smooth and feels like I’m only going 70 mph. Why should I spend $1k-$3k on a true lift, when it’s not going to sit any higher then it is with my spacer lift, and I’m not taking it off-road?. I’d put a true lift on, if I start putting a lot of weight/armor on, or was really going to do some serious off roading. Which I may do some day.

Don’t listen to the people who tell you otherwise, a lot of them overpaid for a lift they probably never needed in the first place. They feel like they have to justify spending that money, so they will get on people like you for asking about a spacer lift. Tell those people to eat a dick. :D

Buy what you can afford, but don't sacrifice the ride.

Save your money and get a decent product for your brand new truck. Don’t cheap out with shortcuts. Buy once cry once.

    A couple things
I put a 2/1 on mine, 1” thick spacer in front, gives ~2” lift, 1” cast iron block in back.

Love the stance, rides great, and no worries because I don’t rock crawl.

    Exactly!
Save your money and buy a tuff country leveling kit. It's cheap reliable and bulletproof, anybody who says otherwise is just ignorant. They've been running these things since 2005 without any problems, same one I have on my truck without any issues.
    Good luck!

I just went the 5100 route. Going to set the front at 1.1” (3rd notch) and 5100 in the rear with a 1” block. Lifting the truck by 1” while maintaining factory rake.

I also went the 5100 route, I don't go off-road I just wanted to level it. I raised it 2 inches in the front and just installed a non adjusting set in the rear just cuz my OCD had to have 5100s all around. I think it rides smoother, wish I had done it sooner now. Better late than never I guess.
