    It’s because the SoCal chunk of the state is perfect for car chases. Big long multi-lane freeways, no snow or ice or “seasons,” lots of camera-toting helicopters ready to cover traffic, and tens of millions of people. It’s fun that this one was a modded Tacoma instead of the normal drivel.
