My 21 TRD Pro has the decal package on the hood and bedside. I plan to keep the truck long term and am concerned what these will look like after 10 years +. I don't think they really add to the look of the truck either (I'm glad it's black so they don't stand out too bad at least). I do worry it might look a bit naked with nothing, but...

    Thoughts from the group?

IMO the decals look good on black and give it some contrast. If they start looking bad you can always remove them at that point.

    BTW good looking truck!

Just removed the stickers on my bed after 5 years, if you plan to remove them take them off soon because it was a PIA to get off all the residue after so many years

There's also a chance that the paint under the sticker will be a slightly different shade than the rest of the truck.

These are the type things I'm worried about.

Leave it on man. Trust me, you won't give a shit what it looks like 10 years from now. And don't give me this "I plan on keeping this truck until I die" line as no one ever does. The Pro truck will be worth more when you go to sell it if it has all the original Pro stuff still on it

I don’t plan to keep the taco till I die but a long time. I have one vehicle I’ve had for 25 years and one I’ve had 16 (that I do plan to keep forever) so I do know what long term ownership is about. Previous DD I had over 10.

You are way overthinking this OP just keep them. Your truck is black if you remove them that’s just what you will have a plain black truck.

I've got the same decals on my black '18 Pro and they are holding up fine, it's mostly black on black so kind of understated, but looks good imo

The paint under the sticker will be less faded.

Buy a 2nd truck without the decals so you can drive whichever you feel like from 1 day to the next.

Take them off. You don't own an ice cream truck. That's what the stickers make it look like.

Just added toolbox and roof-rack to haul my fishing boat 100's of miles into the backwoods every week. Goodrich K02s, Bilstein 5100 front and back, no lift.
Yeah, but these are trucks, not dress up dolls like too many on this forum. Guys buy trucks and drive em daily like cars. I don’t get it. I’m too F’n old school.

My ice cream truck has been off road every week for 6 years now. The AC keeps me and the ice cream cool.

I guess lucky for me I go to spots where no one sees what it looks like.

My 7yo son thinks the bed stickers are totally awesome.

Consult your inner 7yo, and you’ll probably agree. Keeper.
