anybody run nitrous?

    just wondering if anyone on here runs nitrous on there truck. if so what system and how do you like it?

    really looking at adding some more power to my truck, just curios to see some peoples nitrous systems if you have any pictures or recomondations they would be greatly appreciated

    Have you thought about a supercharger or controller? I've heard great things about the APR X-1 although I don't believe they're still in production so you'd have to go used.


    What light bar is that??

    4.10 gears, sliders, lots of buttons, and yellow flashing lights on the dash.
    To run nitrus, you also need to add more fuel. Your better off with an SC from TRD, or URD.

    Supercharger. About $5000+ depending on what you get. Nitrous only works for short bursts. Or you can always sell for a fast car.

    wish i could answer that. i have no idea i bought it off a friend and never got any details on it. i have thought about the urd supercharger an looking at purchasing one in the near future. jus curiose on the nitrous

    yeah truck is regeared cant remember the ratio off the top of my head.

    Well you can go lower but your highway RPM will be higher. Anyway as others have said supercharger or turbo. STS, TRD or URD. The TRD is the best IMO.

    find out what your gearing is, you should be at least at 4.56. maybe even 4.88s

    I don't think TOYOTA has strong enough welds on the intake manifold to handle the NOS, you could blow the welds!

    There are no welds on teh intake manifold.
