Anybody standing in line for iPhone 5?

I've been up since 4 and in line for about an hour already. Anybody else getting theirs hot off the press this morning?

 

Absolutely not, this is why they charge such outrageous amounts of money for the phones. Because some people are dumb enough to stand in a line for several hours for a phone that will be old technology in 4 months. And hundreds less, after they raped all the tech junkies that just couldn't wait

Sorry I am just saying if people waited and didn't rush out and get these things, these companies wouldn't charge such outrageous amounts for them. Look at the Playstation 3 years ago. People waiting in long lines, paying way to much money for it, but they had to have it. Just saying, didn't mean to offend anyone

 

No offense taken of course. All new smart phones are pretty much the same price though. $199 to extend the contract and $449? To buy at full price.

The line here is a mad house but I'm unemployed and someone is paying me to stand here so it's a win win fit me.

$449? I wish! None of the high end androids are as low as $449 off contract. They are usually $600+ at launch, then go down as newer ones release. Maybe the androids with similar specs to the iPhone start that low, but none of the good ones.

 

It's pretty easy to offend people when you say things that directly correlate with 'you are so stupid'. Lol but no hard feelings. I don't think the pricing is dictated by first day sales though. I think the millions and millions of sales that come after today might have more to do with it. I'm getting the 64 gig this time around. With my appradio it runs solely off my phone in my truck. This way I can finally fit all my music on one device.

Oh boy. Christian showed up. I'm Gonna get locked for sure. Haha I'm getting mine today because.....wait for it.....I want to. Think of it this way. My iPhone 4 is the one product I literally have with me all the time. I use it everyday. This phone, will carry on that tradition. The phone is released today, and I wasnt doing anything from 4-8 anyhow so I decided, eh, why the heck not. It's not as if I've been camping for a year. I'm sure you've never waited in line for anything. Definitely too cool for that. I guess I'm just not.
