Anybody take delivery of the 2024 Tacoma yet ?

I think that truck is nicer than his new one.

I've voiced my concerns about a 57K 4th gen, but 49k for a used 3rd gen is WAY dumber, pro or not. 3rd gen pro means nothing.

 

Turns out semi notable Youtubers have shit credit and make poor financial decisions lol.

 

Not sure if he just sucked that rate up or he has bad credit history cause I just got 5.29% 60 months on a used 2023 Tundra with no debt besides mortgage and decent income. I'm guessing he is like many in our country and up to their eyeballs in debt just managing the payments.

 

I just put that in a payment calculator and it’s over $10K in interest and a monthly payment over $900. That’s nuts.

 

Even if he did 72 months its $786

 

And an extra $2K in interest. He’ll end up paying $66K for that truck.

 

I'm only hoping he has a good accountant or way of writing some off since he uses them for content and then trades em, but even if he had $10k equity on his PRO trade in thats not great at all.

 

I gave him a click since I respect the hustle.

I hope that .02 helps him on his way.

 

I'll drive my 3rd gen into the ground before I pay 8.7%. I get he's a youtuber and he needs the content, but is 30k clicks really making any money on youtube?

I dont know I see plenty of $60k new vehicles running around my area, not sure how they all do it. Sh*t I wouldnt let myself buy that Tundra this week and that was only financing $20k @ 5.29%.

 

Google says the average NEW car payment in America is over $700. And over 500 for used. Crazy. Thats probably for long terms too.

 

Yep when we bought my wifes new car last year (now paid off), the finance guy was pushing add ons making a snide comment like you can afford it and average car payment is almost $1000 now, I said "who pays that much for a car, thats a mortgage payment for many, more money than sense" he said "well mine is $1100", I said "WTH do you drive" he said "a TRX."

 

Got my 2024 TRD Sport Feb 15th.
No problems yet other than having to figure out the plethora of available digital gauges and which switches to poke to find the one you want! I can't say I'm not concerned about the many issues you're all talking about.
I'm glad I bought the 7 year 75k mile bumper to bumper warranty for it. May end up being money well spent!
So far no big issues, rides great and looks great! I do wish there was more clearance getting into the drivers seat between the top of my legs and the steering wheel in full up position. It seems there would have been more upward tilt. And on my mpg gauge Im seeing 16.9 mpg so I'm current in the middle of testing REAL mpg on this tank of gas. Hoping 16.9 isn't REAL!

Who is the warranty through ? And what do they run ? The truck still has 5/60 powertrain right ?
