You can criticize them all you want. But I was just stating the facts.

I definitely think the smaller screen is a more integrated solution, but also agree that the bezel, in the time of continuously shrinking bezels, is distracting.
It is nice to see that the OR can be configured for the smaller screen.

I have seen SR5, Sport, OR, and Limited all posted....most seem to be paying MSRP but I doubt anyone is going to admit to paying markup and getting roasted for it.

you can already get at least $1k off MSRP on these in some dealerships now, to me $1k off is not enough to incentivize flying across the country for a deal so I think that's why many settle for paying MSRP locally

Yup. You pay so much more but its not even more of a 'truck'. It should have the same as the Hilux at 2,200 lbs.

Paying $60,000 for a 'truck' that has a pathetic 1200 lb payload. :(

I’m actually very surprised. I was hoping to see at least 1500.

1200# is 4 dudes and a cooler. Yep, pathetic.

Trail hunter will probably have even less payload due to steel bumper.

Not only Trail Hunter all the Hybrid models will have less payload capacity due to being heavier.

I wish the Tacoma was more of a truck like the Hilux is.

On that video, the engine sounds like an old school 4 banger.

Right, those one too. Yeah… So what’s the point of this new TGAF frame or whatever it’s called.

    Pretty much.

MPGs are super disappointing too. So after adding bigger/heavier tires and 2” lift, my guess MPGs won’t be any different from all the other generations of Tacomas.

2024 sienna has got ~1500# payload.

    Look at the MPGs, haha.

He says the skid plate underneath the motor is metal but it appears to be a plastic fiber composite instead. Looking at the edges. That can’t be right?
