Anybody tell me what part has disintegrated in my 3rd member?

    Other than the ring & pinion everything else looks good. Didn't pull the pinion nut.

    Yeah that's rebuildable. Just need new gears and install kit with bearings.

    any idea if it was setup with a crush sleeve or solid spacer?

    gonna need a new ring and pinion, bearings sets, shims, and all that good stuff. The third member housing, carrier, and spiders should probably be reusable but should still be checked closely.

    It's less Tacoma and more mod
    Sucks that it happened, but thankfully it looks like the carrier and third member case got away unscathed. Might want the rebuilder to check those spider gears though just in case.
