Anybody use an indoor bicycle trainer stand?

    +1 on the cycleops trainers. I've used mine quite a bit with my road bike, it's quiet enough to use watching TV (volume up a couple of clicks). Put a slick rear tire on your MTB and you should be set. There is some adjustability on the trainer itself in terms of resistance, but changing gears is what I do during the workout to simulate "actual" riding. Getting on this thing for ~30 minutes a day plus some in home dumbbell workouts was crucial to me getting back in to serious shape a few years back.
