Soon as it gets warmer outside I'm going to debadge the Taco and paint them, I've read most people use automotive tape to reapply. Has anyone tried using glue??

I used some glue on my last vehicle after i painted the emblems and put them back on.

Not a good idea... too permanent and cant damage the paint.
There might be special automotive glue or something, but in my opinion, its worth taking the time to cut pieces of tape in case you want to debadge, or repaint your emblems later on.

I would never even consider using glue.

Thanks, I was planning on using the tape. I was just curious to see if glue might be a better option.

    Yeah, I gots boost
Glue was used on my toy when they were reapplied after it was rear ended once upon a time. I went to debadge it, and the glue had fused with the paint. When I would pick the glue off, paint would come off with it. Spare yourself the hassle later and you'll be happy

My girlfriend knows alot about paint and body. We had some 3m automotive emblem glue laying around. She said use the tape. The glue is too messy and can be a bitch to remove. Just an FYI.
