They did a great job on replacing the windshield in my truck. Quick and easy and cheaper than anybody else nearby.

I've only used them for chip repairs on OEM glass.
I have not used their glass. While I was there getting my 2nd chip repaired a guy came in with a bad windshield they had just installed they day before.
you could see the wave or distortion in the glass. They did apologize many times to the guy while I was waiting.

I'd still use them for chip repairs. they do a great job at those.
But I want to see the glass before they install it if possible.

the only experience I have had with them is while they were installing the front wind shield on my wife's car the technician placed a nice dent in her roof...after some "conversations" with the manager he made it right and safelight paid for the repair and paid for the glass as well, was not satisfied with the technician but they were quick to take full responsibility

Use them all the time. No deductible on glass replacement. Comprehensive FTW!

I had a rock come up and hit my windshield a couple months ago and a nice little crack digger. I was thinking about getting it "repaired" but the repairs look like crap. and more noticeable IMO. I got my windshield replaced by a guy at work, 180 bucks for the glass and labor. Couldn't be happier.

I had them replace a windshield on my old RDX. The work was good, and they did it in the amount of time they said. What I didn't like was the quality of the replacement windshield. It had the waves in the glass that you could see from certain angles. Really trippy when it's on the windshield.

Windshield installer was top notch, but customer service and followup was seriously lacking this past February when I had an Odyssey windshield replaced.

Had them seal a spider chip in my wife's Rav 4 . They came out to her work and did a great job. No complaint's. I would defiantly use them again !! I have glass coverage so no out of pocket cost.

I used safelite once for a back-glass on my car that I had to do through insurance.

came out, cleaned it up, fixed it, and had me and the fam laughing the whole time. nice guy. neighbor pulls up wanting a quote for a chip and he tells her to pull up to his van and he fixed her up for nothing! good experience.

for any glass that doesn't cost more than 500$ I use some local guys though that have a slightly better price and are all in all pretty awesome.

this is how they roll lol, strait gangster. they have built some awesome cars so I support them
well cant get pic of van but yea, they don't mess around

Most of the time Windshield coverage has $0 deductible.

List of Automotive Glass Manufacturers: http://www.phoenixglass.biz/windshield-and-auto-glass-brands-we-sell.htm

Safelite is as good or better than OEM in my experience.

Safelite Glass Corperation is an OEE Aftermarket windshield manufacture. They are currently owned by Belron a very large company whose roots began in South Africa and have now spread across the world. Belron trades under 15 different brands including Carglass, Autoglass and now Safelite. Belron acquired the Safelite Group in 2007 who was at that time one of, if not the main after market or "original equipment equivalent (OEE)" auto glass manufacturers who produce "OEM equivalent", or "OEE", auto glass in their own manufacturing facility which is located in Enfield, NC which is ISO-9002 certified to ensure consistently high quality. According to Safelite their products are essentially the same type of glass that is installed at the time your vehicle is made and that the only difference between OEM and OEE is the windshield manufacturer. Safelite claims that their glass meets or exceeds all federal, industry and safety standards, and to make sure they engage in some of the most rigorous product testing in the industry.

Had them do my BMW in the past. They damaged the cowl that I had already replaced once, then just left it. Used their generic glass, seems were sloppy, and it leaked leading to some slight water staining on my headliner.

Made a followup, different tech came out. Repaired the cowl to were I couldn't just lift it off with a finger. Used a better, OEM spec'd glass and fixed the issue with no more leaks. Only some minor adhesive overspill on one seem, but overall good.

Honestly, I wouldn't use them again. I've heard rumors their generic glass is way cheaper, thinner, and more prone to future damage.

When I was an insurance agent back in Florida, it was the only company I used. Probably over 200 windshields replaced/repaired for clients, not one complaint.
