Anyone around here got a Roof Top Tent

I was hoping to see what the look like in person. I'm kind of a fat boy, but they look like a good option. Post up some pics.

 

How do you like it?

 

Camping in style for sure. You need at least another guy to get the thing on and off. Or setup some sort of winch for the garage. I have to call a buddy over to help my get it up onto my truck.

 

How is the mattress pad? Comfortable? What brand?

 

The CVT that I have came with a 3inch pad. For us it's great since we came from ground tents and inflated pad that are noisy and slippery. Their new summit series,the one I have, comes with a waterproof cover that makes any cleanup a breeze. It is slightly larger that a queen sized bed.

 

I have a Mombasa brand. Much more comfortable than a ground tent with sleeping pad IMO. Most difficult part is unzipping/strapping if it is mounted high up.
