Driving down from SF tomorrow and planning on hitting Hungry Valley SVRA for a quick run. Wanted to see if anyone has been recently? Or if there’s any other areas from SF to Vegas that you recommend. TIA!

If i were to travel from SF to vegas...... I would seriously think of hitting death valley or Joshua tree before I would go to hungry valley.

Ah went to both of those within the past 6 months. Both were legit. Only planning on going to Hungry Valley since it’s not out of the way

I have been going there for over 40 years, hit the Miller Jeep trail, it will take you to the top of Alamo mountain and you camp right around the mountain past Dutchman Mines. Spring flowers will still be like carpet at the top. Good luck and be safe.
