I have a damaged long box side gas fill side.

Looks like the whole side will unbolt.

If it'll unbolt is easy. Just pull bed back or off like lights, filler neck, bumper, liners off. Then swap them out have it painted the reassemble. If it doesn't come as a bolt on piece then you have to drill about 30+ welds then fit it apply bonding adhesive on the top of the bed and wheel house after grinding. Clamp it in place and weld the front and rear of the bed. The adhesive makes a cleaner and stronger repair. I just finished a 2013 gmc Sierra with 35/12.5/22 on it with 6in lift and that was factory recommendation.

Our bedsides do unbolt and come off pretty easily. You'll need to remove whatever's attatched to it like the fender flare, wheel liner, tail light, fuel filler door, etc. After that's all removed unbolt the bed side and throw the new painted one on. If you're careful there's no need to take the bed off/move it back

I normally move them back but someone who has never done one I'd recommend taking it off because if you're doing it yourself and you slide it without paying attention you could damage the csb corner on the other side. Also if you do do it on the truck you can put the axle on stands and remove the tires to get morr room.
